Otweedom Amoah Nyadu I, Suhum Okorase NifaHene has called on Ghanaian youth to celebrate the Easter festivity as a period of renewing hopes for the future, for greater achievements for the betterment of Ghana.
Making this remark at his palace at Suhum in the Eastern Region, the Chief touched on significant areas needed for enhancing growth and sustainability among the Ghanaian youth.
Touching on discipline, he noted that Easter celebration in Ghana is usually characterised by a plethora of exciting activities to mark the death of Jesus Christ for mankind.
However, he cautioned the youth to be circumspect in their mood of celebrating the festivity in order for them to refrain from faulting with the laws.
Advising that, it is very important to be careful when enjoying themselves during this season by simply adhering to disciplinary measures wherever they find themselves.
Elaborating on discipline, he mentioned that, Easter should be a period for all to ponder on the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus for the atonement of mankind’s sin.
Otweedom Amoah Nyadu I highlighted on the need for the Ghanaian youth to positively think to enhance their future prospects.
He explained that, it was very critical for the Ghanaian youth to constantly strive for a breakthrough in order for them to contribute their quota to national development.
The Chief indicated that, Easter should be celebrated in love, peace, forgiveness and renewal of bonds that are at the verge of collapse.
Delving into his paramountcy, the Suhum Okorase NifaHene admonished his indigenes to celebrate the Easter with a culmination of love, discipline, unity, hope and optimism to further develop Suhum Okorase.
He admonished the youth in his traditional area to eschew all forms of negative habits that would eventually land them into trouble, and charged them to always adhere to disciplinary measures.
Otweedom Nyadu I pledged his unwavering commitment to continually support Suhum Okorase with developmental aids for the betterment of the area. He wished all Ghanaians a blissful Easter celebration and urged all to live in unity and love.
