As part of efforts to build relationship with relevant stakeholders, the team paid an official visit to the Russian Embassy in Ghana and met with the Russian Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Sergei Berdnikov. In his welcome note and brief, the Ambassador stated, “It is of great joy to see young people take up leadership mantle and show courage in championing for a sustainable future.

They will have the opportunity to explore local landmarks, interact with the community, and embrace the diversity of cultures represented at the event”.

The delegation led by John Aggrey thank the Secretariat for providing the platform for young people to converge and share experiences, ‘As a youth committee in support of the World Youth Festival, we will work to create an environment where young people can come together, collaborate and work towards a better future. We are passionate about creating such a platform that allows young people to express their ideas and be empowered to take action through diplomacy, collaboration, and communication.

The Festival is designed to empower the youth, enabling them to make a positive impact on society. Through various activities and initiatives, participants will explore avenues for personal growth, social change, and global development.
