In 2012, Nigerian singer Iyanya and the Ghanaian actress were in a relationship that was the talk of the town in Africa.
The couple’s romance was so public that Iyanya even mentioned Yvonne in his 2013 hit song “Your Waist.”
However, the relationship came to an end in 2015, much to the disappointment of their fans. The reason for the breakup was never revealed, but in her new memoir, “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson,” the celebrated Ghanaian actress claims that the famous Nigerian singer cheated on her with controversial Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh.
This revelation has infuriated the popular Nollywood actress who has reportedly threatened to sue Yvonne for defamation.
According to a report by Ghanaian showbiz personality Ruthy, Tonto Dikeh’s camp is “boiling” and feels that the memoir has the potential to damage their reputation.
As a result, they are considering filing a lawsuit.
