Fifteen communities in Tatale/Sangui in the North East region will be connected to the rural electrification project by the end of 2024.
This will add up to the 44 Communities which have already been connected to electricity.
Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia announced this at a Community Engagement at Tatale in the Tatale/Sanguli Constituency of the Northern Region.
He said records show that the government has fulfilled its promises made to the people in the area, especially with the extensive work done on the Tatale/Sanguli/Tamale 167 kilometer road which is almost completed.
Dr Bawumia, who has already toured a number of constituencies in the North East and Northern Regions, said the NPP government of which he is Vice President, has worked very hard to fulfil the promises they made to the people of Tatale/Sanguli constituency, and he, as President, will work extra hard to do even more.
Dr Bawumia urged the people to maintain their faith in him and the NPP in the 2024 elections, noting that the party has demonstrated its commitment to the development of the Constituency.
Dr Bawumia noted that the government has addressed the challenges of the people in the Constituency, stressing that the north has seen massive development, adding that the region will witness more when he is voted as President.
