The NDC 2020 running mate, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has called on the youth to educate themselves on the 24-hour Economy initiative being proposed by the NDC Flag Bearer, John Dramani Mahama. This she said will enable them to understand what it is and share it with others.
Launching the “Voice Out Vote Out” initiative of the NDC in Accra, Prof. Opoku Agyemang proffered the 24-hour economy as the solution to the youth unemployment in Ghana.
Prof. Opoku Agyemang commended the team behind the party’s “Voice Out Vote Out” initiative. She, however, cautioned them on the importance of working with the structures within the party so that it does not appear as if they are a splinter group within it.
Prof. Opoku Agyemang urged members to visit their branches and work with the executives for the smooth running of their programmes and activities. She reiterated the importance of working hard to bring change in their communities.
Prof. Opoku Agyemang condemned the use of state machinery to intimidate, silence and destroy the multiplicity of differing views in Ghana.
