Delegates and Media Practitioners from various African countries who graced the 3rd African Media Convention were introduced to the rich Ghanaian culture and heritage as they embarked on an exciting road trip in the city of Accra, with important and historical venues being visited on the last day of the conference.

The 3rd African Media Convention, which drove on the theme, enhancing freedom, innovation and environmental sustainability in a dynamic media landscape, has been an integral component in shaping the media landscape since its opening ceremony on Thursday, 16th, 2024, at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Top African Journalists and advocates made a stop in Ghana as they continued their course to fight against media oppression and freedom. Over the years, the media in Africa has been seen to be lacking, as much of its reporting struggles to make much global impact compared to other continents like Europe and North America.

Members from the various African countries present at the convention had the opportunity to visit some interesting venues in Accra as part of their experience in learning and familiarizing themselves with the Ghanaian community and their charge of promoting and strengthening Pan-Africanism.

The Kwame Nkrumah Museum, Usher Fort, and Black Stars Square were some notable places explored by guests who graced the memorial 3rd African Media Convention in Accra.
