Aduana Stars on Saturday secured a hard-fought victory over Great Olympics, moving six points clear at the top of the league table.
After suffering a setback last weekend when they were eliminated from the MTN FA Cup, Aduana Stars responded with a purposeful display against the Accra boys.
Midfielder Frank Owusu scored the crucial goal in the 54th minute, securing the win for the league leaders.
With their home ground, Nana Agyemang Badu suspended due to alleged hooliganism, Aduana hosted the game at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese.

The victory maintains Aduana Stars’ position at the top of the table, with a comfortable six-point lead over second-placed Bechem United, who also played on Saturday.
However, Bechem United suffered a defeat in a five-goal thriller against Tamale City at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
Despite scoring two goals in the first half through Hafiz Konkoni, Bechem United were unable to hold off a determined Tamale City side, who won the match 3-2 and climbed out of the relegation zone.
