Executive Director of Global Info Analytics, Mussa Dankwah has said incumbent MP for Dome-Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo has no chance in the ongoing New Patriotic Party’s Primaries.
Mr. Dankwah in an interview with Berla Mundi on TV3 said the MP has too many controversies surrounding her and will not be able to retain her seat.
He added that Adwoa Safo will lose her seat even if additional votes are given to her.
“The poll numbers are not in her favour and the odds are against her. Mike Ocquaye Jnr is going to win the primaries this afternoon. It should be very clear on what has happened in the constituency in the past and the TikTok issues. People have not forgiven her and that’s how bad delegates think she’s done to the NPP and on that note my MP will not go back to Parliament,” Mr. Dankwah said.
About 1,840 delegates are expected to cast their ballot today. The other contenders are Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Free Zones Authority, Mike Ocquaye Junior and Sheela Sakyi Oppong Adomaa.
In the previous primaries, Adwoa Safo won by just 12 votes after she secured 496 votes while Mike Ocquaye Junior polled 488 votes.
Global Info Analytics prior to the primaries had predicted that Sarah Adwoa Safo will lose miserably by securing just ten percent of votes.
