.Afua Asantewaa revealed during an interview on Joy Prime that she and her management opted for an expedited review process, considering the standard verification period of up to 12 weeks.
In order to fast-track the review, which would normally take 1–5 days, Afua explained that a payment of $750 was made for the priority service. The regular review process typically spans 12 weeks, prompting her decision to opt for the quicker option after waiting for two weeks.
Explaining the reason behind the expedited review, Afua stated, “Because of the popularity of the event, they requested our files. After two weeks of waiting, we requested a priority review. The normal review takes not less or more than 12 weeks. But if you want it quick, you pay an amount of money, and they review your file within five working days.”
She further clarified that the official cost was $650, but with transaction fees included, the total amount paid was approximately $750.
