Black Stars striker Antoine Semenyo has revealed that Afro-dancehall artiste Stonebwoy tops his list of Ghanaian musicians he listens to.
Semenyo, who plays for Premier League side Bournemouth following a January switch from Championship side Bristol City, expressed his love for Stonebwoy’s music, saying that it’s always on his playlist and he listens to all his songs.
“I’ve been listening to a lot of Stonebwoy right now. He is just on the playlist everywhere. I listen to all his songs,” he said as reported by Ghanaweb.
When asked about his football idol, Semenyo mentioned former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan, saying he dreamed of becoming like him.

“I used to watch him when it came to the AFCON competitions and the World Cup. He was such a big player and I dream to be exactly like him,” Semenyo said.
Semenyo, who was born in London, recently scored the winner as Ghana beat Angola in Kumasi in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
