Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan has congratulated newly-crowned Milo U13 champions Nkawkaw Salvation Army.The Nkawkaw-based primary school emerged champions of the juvenile competition after beating Kwabenya M/A Atomic 2-0 in the final.Gyan, an ambassador of the Milo U13 championship, was present to watch the final and took the opportunity to inspire the next generation of Ghanaian footballers.”What an incredible finale to the Milo U13 Champions League! Thank you,” posted the former Ghana captain.Meanwhile, on an eventful day, Nkawkaw Salvation Army Primary School swept all the individual awards; Goalkeeper of the tournament went to King Agbozo and James K Tawiah took home the Topscorer gong after scoring 5 goals in six matches.Midfielder Hassan Kamal, also of Nkawkaw Salvation Army Primary School, was named the tournaments Best Player.The annual tournament will return next year with Nkawkaw Salvation Army facing other top schools in the defence of their title.
