Asamoah Gyan at Sammy Anim-Addo’s 50th birthday celebration.Ex-Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has revealed that and his once-close relationship with manager Sammy Anim-Addo strained by hearsay and misunderstandings.They were barely on speaking terms the past two years.Gyan has now revealed how the bitter fallout eventually gave way to reconciliation.We had a split three years ago and for two years we were at loggerheads. We were not visiting each other and what caused it was hearsay. I even went through a lot of things, the former Al Ain man gave a speech during Anim Addos 50th birthday celebration.But the two men eventually reached out to each other, leading to an emotional conversation where they sat down and resolve their differences.He added: Its by nature that we have reconciled and when we spoke on the phone and cried together.GFA President Kurt Okraku also played a role in bringing the two sides together.The president of the GFA also helped us to talk as men and iron out our differences.Since Anim-Addo returned to his life, Gyan says he has noticed a significant change both personally and professionally.Ever since he returned, things began to pick up in my life and I have seen massive improvement.
