Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have set sights on securing the services of Togolese international Youssifou Atte ahead of the new season.
Atte is currently unattached after ending his spell with Congolese giants TP Mazembe.
The Ghanaian giants are in search of a striker following the departure of Uganda international Steven Mukwala.
Kotoko have identified Atte as a potential replacement for Mukwala and has already engaged his management over a possible move in the ongoing transfer window
Atte began his career with West African Football Academy (WAFA) youth team in Ghana before gaining promotion to the senior team back in December 2017.
He made his debut on 17 March 2018, playing the full 90 minutes in a 1-1 draw against Asante Kotoko.
During his debut season, he played 14 league matches before the league was cancelled due to the Anas Number 12 Expose.
The forward had stint with Legon Cities before departing for TP Mazembe.
His consistent performances earned him his first call-up to the Togo national team by Claude Le Roy in March 2020.
He made his senior debut on 29 March 2021 in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya.
