Ghanaian broadcaster and media personality Berla Mundi has been announced as an advocate for Global Citizen, taking on the crucial issues of gender empowerment and climate action.
In a post on X, the media personality announced her new role with the organisation and encouraged her followers to join her on the course.

Berla Mundi is the founder of ‘B.You by Berla Mundi,’ a mentorship initiative for young African women, which is driven by a passion for youth development.
In 2022, she hosted the Global Citizen Festival in Accra and in 2023, she participated once again in the Paris edition, “Power Our Planet,” a campaign urging influential nations to take decisive action for the environment and confront the challenges of climate change.
Berla Mundi has ascended the ranks to establish herself as a prominent media personality. Known for her presence on the screen, she has solidified her position as one of Ghana’s popular morning show hosts on TV3’s New Day program.
Additionally, her role as the host of The Day Show, which airs on Sundays on the same channel, has garnered acclaim. On this show, Berla engages with distinguished personalities, delving into their journeys and accomplishments, serving as a source of inspiration for mentees and viewers alike.
