Ghanaian center-back Khalid Abdul Mumin Suleman is considering offers from clubs in Spain, France, England and Major League Soccer as he closes in on a decision over the next step in his career.

The Ghana international is expected to choose his new club in the coming weeks after attracting interest from several teams across Europe’s top leagues as well as the United States.

Mumin became available after rejecting a contract extension from Rayo Vallecano. The 28-year-old turned down the club’s proposal after refusing to accept a pay cut, bringing an end to his stay with the La Liga side.

The centre-back endured a frustrating 2025/26 campaign after suffering a serious ACL injury that sidelined him for almost a year. Despite the setback, he recovered to make three La Liga appearances before the end of the season.

His return to action also earned him a place in Ghana’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, underlining the confidence the Black Stars technical team still have in his abilities.

With interest growing from clubs in four different leagues, Mumin is now weighing up his options as he looks to begin a new chapter after leaving Rayo Vallecano.
