The Black Stars of Ghana will begin camping in Johannesburg, South Africa on Sunday, 31st December, 2024 in preparations for January 2024 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
The four-time African champions will be in South Africa for roughly ten days to relax and prepare ahead of the Total Energies AFCON which kicks off in Ivory Coast on Saturday, 13th January to Sunday, 11th February 2024.
Ghana will take on Botswana in a warm-up game in Johannesburg on Monday, 8th January 2024 before jetting off to Abidjan two days later for the tournament.
The Black Stars are drawn in same Group as record holders Egypt, Cape Verde Islands and Mozambique. Ghana will open her group account against Cape Verde Islands on Sunday, 14th January before taking on Egypt on 18th January, 2024, before signing off against Mozambique in the final Group B game on Monday, 22nd January, 2024.
