Grammy award-winning singer and entertainer, Burna Boy has set a new milestone for Nigerian and African artists with his current performance in Canada.
The musician, who brought his ‘I Told Them’ tour to Toronto, Canada, became the first African artist to sell out the Scotiabank Arena, which has a capacity of 19000, for two consecutive days.
Burna Boy, who is now on tour, sold out the Scotiabank Arena for two nights on February 24 and 25, 2024, a milestone never accomplished by an African musician at a facility of such size and capacity in Canada.
During his performance at the legendary theater on Saturday, February 24, 2024, the artist teased fans about an impending project while performing an unheard song. This, however, was not the only highlight of the first day; the artist, who also had a sold-out show in Chicago, performed a medley of some of his most popular songs that night.
Burna showed no signs of stress or fatigue on the second sold-out day, as he took to the stage to provide a one-of-a-kind experience for fans who had paid to see the singer, famed for his spectacular live performances, take the stage once more.
