A call has been put out to all organizations and individuals to participate in the World Diversity in Leadership Conference to be held in Edmonton this summer.
This groundbreaking conference will offer businesses and individuals an opportunity to complete a one-day DiversityFIRSTTM Certificate program. This certificate program offers diversity and inclusion strategies for organizational excellence and gives companies that competitive edge.
We are excited to bring together decision-makers from various fields to explore the importance of diversity and inclusion in leadership,” said Patrick Arthur, Executive Director of the Centre For Intellectual Excellence.

The conference will take place at the Coast Nisku Inn & Conference Center from June 20-23, and will feature speakers from all over the world. Special guest speakers include Hon. Rajan Sawhney (Minister of Trade, Immigration and Multiculturalism), Hon. Randy Boissonnault (Minister of Tourism and Associate Minister of Finance), Margaret Trudeau (Canadian activist, mother of Canada’s current Prime Minister- Justin Trudeau), Bushra Amiwala (the state of Illinois’ youngest elected Muslim politician), Manjit Minhas, Canadian entrepreneur and many more.
The theme for this year is “Climate Change & Mental Health: the impact of Diverse Leadership Skills”.
Discussions will focus on Mental health and well-being in the workplaces; Roles of Employers in Destigmatizing Mental Health, Diversity in the climate changes era: Equity, Environment, and the Economy; Adaptation, Climate Resilience, and Disaster Mitigation.
The conference will have engaging panel discussions featuring experts from various fields, including senior leaders, policymakers, HR, CEO, researchers, and community leaders. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in thought-provoking discussions, ask questions, and gain valuable knowledge from these diverse perspectives, inspiring them to take action in their respective fields.
