Ghanaian music sensation, Camidoh, may not have taken home the coveted award at the 2023 BET Awards, but his remarkable journey and outstanding achievements have undeniably made his homeland, Ghana proud.

Despite the loss to fellow nominee Labianca, Camidoh’s nomination as 2023 BET Viewers Choice: Best New International Act award showcased his undeniable talent, dedication, and the incredible impact he has had on the music industry.

Camidoh, born Raphael Camidoh Kofi Attachie, has risen to prominence in Ghana and beyond with his unique blend of Afrobeat, highlife, and R&B sounds. 

His soulful vocals and captivating songwriting have resonated with audiences, earning him a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim. 

With hits like “For My Lover” and “Sugarcane,” Camidoh has solidified his position as one of Ghana’s most promising musical talents.

 Camidoh joins an elite roster of Ghanaian artistes who have earned nominations in previous years.

They are Kojo Antwi, D Black, Sarkodie, R2bees, Stonebwoy, Fuse ODG, MzVee, Kwesi Arthur and Black Sherif.
