Ghana’s fastest-growing television station CitI TV is five years old. The popular TV station which started its operations on June 4,2018 marked its five[5] years anniversary on Sunday, June 4,2023.
A lot of activities were lined up to commemorate the occasion. Amongst these activities include: thanksgiving prayer service which was held at the station’s plush premises at Tesano in Accra, before climaxing the celebration with a party for staff at the Palladium Bay Hotel at Abokobi .
Addressing the staff the journey so far, the Chief Executive of Citi TV and Citi FM, Samuel Attah-Mensah said:
“It has been a wonderful journey. The significance of being five years, it is by the grace of God and by the favour of God. I say it is about the grace of God because there were people that were more resourceful than us, more knowledgeable than us, there were people who were more experienced, companies that started ahead of us collapsed not because they are stupid but here we are, all together as a family thanking God because we recognize that it is God who has brought us this far,”

Significantly, the growth and impact of this pronounced TV station cannot be exaggerated as it has grown to become a leader in news and lifestyle family television in Ghana.
