Popular music executive Don Jazzy has come under fire for his late tribute to the late singer MohBad on social media.
MohBad, who was formerly signed to Naira Marley’s Marlian Records, died on September 12. Many fans and industry colleagues expressed their support and condolences in the days following his death.
However, it was not until a week after MohBad’s death that Don Jazzy posted a tribute to him on Instagram.
In his tribute, Don Jazzy wrote that MohBad did not deserve to go through the pain he did and that he would forever be in their hearts.
Many people were not impressed with Don Jazzy’s tribute and criticised him for being late and fake.
One commenter wrote, “Na wa oo, na now you know say him die? Life eh, it could be anyone’s turn tomorrow.”
Another commenter wrote, “Are you telling me you never knew the boy died all these days?? Make una dey fear God Sha.”
