Dr. Bawumia leads NPP delegation to commiserate with Family of John Kumah

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has led a delegation of the New Patriotic Party to the residence of the late Deputy Finance Minister, John Kumah.

The delegation was at the residence of the late Minister, who was also the MP for Ejisu in Ashanti Region, to mourn with his family following his passing.

Dr. Bawuma was joined by Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Opare; NPP Party Chairman, Stephen Ntim; General Secretary, Justin Koduah; Former Flagberer Hopeful, Kwabena Agyepong; Sammy Awuku, Former National Organiser, NPP; and Greater Accra Regional Minister Designate, Titus Glover.

Dr. Bawumia said Ghana has lost an illustrious Son of the land.

“This afternoon, I visited the home of Hon. John Ampontuah Kumah to commiserate with the immediate family and sign the book of condolences. I was accompanied by the Chief of Staff, Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP: Development in Freedom), and government and party officials. I had the opportunity to work with John on several projects, to my greatest admiration. Indeed, Ghana and the NPP have lost a hardworking son.”

He extended condolences to the wife, children and entire family. 

”My deepest condolences to Lilian and the children, his mother, the entire family, and all loved ones.”
