Equatorial Guinea eventually were peaked back a few minutes after going up when Esteban Orozco was forced to turn the ball into his own net in the 37th minute under pressure from Franculino Dju.
Guinea-Bissau, after equalising along the line, was awarded a penalty, but it was overturned by a VAR review.
