To show her support for Faila on her quest to breaking the longest cooking record by the Guinness World Record, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum stormed Tamale.
Afua who is supposed to be resting after a strenuous week of a sing-a-thon Marathon, decided to go and support her colleague to put Ghana on the Map.
On January 1, 2024, Ghanaian chef Faila Abdul Razak began a culinary marathon at the Hotel in Tamale, in the country’s northern region.
Failatu Abdul-Razak has completed 72 hours so far, and she still has a few hours left to officially break Hilda Baci and the Irish chef record.

Faila accepted this incredible challenge with the goal of setting a new record by cooking for at least 120 hours, breaking the current record of 119 hours and 57 minutes.
This grand project intends to set a new standard in the culinary industry in addition to showcasing Chef Faila’s culinary prowess.
She has cooked a variety of dishes, such as chicken and curry rice, plain rice with beef sauce, tuo-zaafi with ayoyo soup, fufu with soup, and many others.
