Fella Makafui has denied claims that she has not been in contact with her YOLO co-star John Peasah, popularly known as Drogba, since he fell ill.
The actress responded after comments from Drogba resurfaced on TikTok, sparking conversation online.
Drogba had earlier said in an interview with Sammy Kay Media, aired on May 29, 2026, that Fella did not personally reach out to him during the early stages of his illness. He claimed she instead contacted actor Jeffrey Nortey, even though she had his personal number.
He added that Nortey was surprised by the approach, as he assumed Fella could have reached Drogba directly. According to him, she later contacted him through another number to ask about his availability, but communication did not continue afterwards.

In response, Fella Makafui wrote in the comment section of the viral video that she had remained in touch with him. “I hope this video is not new because that will be surprising. We’ve been communicating lately for anyone asking,” she stated.
