The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that passport applications which remain incomplete for two months from the date of initial submission will be automatically cancelled.
According to the Ministry, incomplete applications include those requiring further vetting, supporting documents, incomplete biometric capture, or pending biometric recapture.
The Ministry stated that fees paid for such applications are non-refundable, and affected applicants will be required to begin a new application process, including payment of the applicable fees.
Applicants seeking further information have been advised to contact the Ministry’s 24-hour call centre on 0302 754 200.
The Ministry urged the public to submit passport applications on time to avoid cancellations and assured them of its commitment to quality service delivery.
