A gruesome double murder has shocked residents of the High Tension Immigration area of Golf City, where a fuel tanker driver identified as Kwabena and his pregnant partner were found dead in their apartment.
The victims were at their residence located at Immigration House on Saki Road.
Reports indicate that both bodies were found in a pool of blood, while their three-year-old daughter was discovered alive in the same room.
The child is believed to have been left alone with the bodies for approximately three days without food or water, raising serious concerns about her condition and welfare.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the prime suspect had only recently become acquainted with the couple, reportedly befriending them about two weeks prior to the incident.
According to accounts, the suspect allegedly went out drinking with Kwabena on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, and later accompanied him home. It is suspected that he subsequently carried out the attack, killing both victims.
Authorities further indicate that the suspect made away with approximately GH¢470,000, believed to be proceeds from fuel sales.
The Saki Police Command, in collaboration with Environmental Health Officers, has since recovered the bodies and deposited them at the morgue for autopsy.
