The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku, has paid a courtesy call on the new boss of the National Sports Authority, Mr. Dodzie Numekevor.

The meeting at the National Sports Authority’s national headquarters at the Accra Sports Stadium was on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

It was the first time Mr. Dodzie Numekevor and Kurt Okraku are meeting after he was officially appointed interim National Sports Authority following the dismissal of Prof Peter Twumasi from the office at the start of March.

The meeting between the NSA boss and the GFA president is said to be pivotal as the two are key stakeholders in the sports industry.

This meeting happened ahead of crucial upcoming months for Ghana’s national teams.

The Black Stars are set to play important 2026 World Cup qualifiers in June against Mali away and the Central African Republic, and would need a stadium approved for the later game.

Ghana is also set to host a number of tournaments and would need facilities ready for the competitions.
