Michael Blackson has highlighted Ghana’s growing appeal as a tourism and investment destination, describing the country as one of the most visited in Africa.

He made the remarks during his unveiling as brand ambassador for MCL Ghana’s Grand Panache project, an event held at Palms by Eagles in Airport, Accra.

Grand Panache is a premium real estate development offering curated luxury residences designed for modern urban living, privacy, and long-term investment value. The project is aimed at homebuyers, corporate tenants, and diaspora investors seeking secure and high-value property opportunities in Ghana.

Speaking at the event, Blackson said: “Ghana is the number one tourism country in Africa right now,” adding that “Ghana gets over 2 million people visiting the country every year.” He further emphasized his intention to encourage members of the diaspora to return and invest in Ghana, as part of efforts to strengthen ties between the diaspora and the motherland.
