Ghanaian youth attacker Kwadwo Asamoah has explained the reasons behind his move to Lithuanian A-Lgya leader FK Panevezys.
The 20-year-old who dazzled for Bechem United in 2019/20, sealed the move during the weekend and is expected to play an influential role in the 22 games left to round up the season.
After sealing the move he said he is excited by the project at ongoing at the club.
“Well, it’s the project of the club and I believe that the project will also help me to improve, I spoke to the coach several times and he made things clear to me, how he wants his team to play and I found myself to be an important part of this project so it was much easier to decide,” he said.
Panevezys, who won the Lithuanian Super Cup in 2021, expects the crafted right-footed winger to dominate on their flanks as they seek to protect their lead at the top of the table.
Currently, the club, which is based in the 5th largest city in Lithuania, is leading the 10-club league table with 34 points from 14 games with an unbeaten record.
