Ghanaian dance music DJ and producer DJ Shagy and Afro-EDM artist KVPEL have secured a place on the official soundtrack of FIFA Heroes, becoming the only African acts selected for the newly announced football arcade game’s soundtrack.
Their collaborative record, “Bounce,” stands as the continent’s sole representation on a soundtrack that also features internationally acclaimed artists including Central Cee, J Balvin, Rich The Kid, and Odeal.
At a time when African music continues to shape global culture, the selection is particularly significant as it highlights a different side of the continent’s sound. Rather than Afrobeats, “Bounce” is rooted in the fast-growing world of African electronic music and Afro-House, showcasing the diversity and global appeal of African dance music.
Crafted by a talented Ghanaian team, “Bounce” sees DJ Shagy and KVPEL combine their creative strengths, backed by production from GRAMMY Award-winning producer C-Tea and vocal production support from Redemption Beatz.

The selection arrives through FIFA Heroes, a newly announced arcade football title from FIFA that combines gaming, football culture and music. All the soundtrack records will debut inside the game before being released commercially.
For DJ Shagy and KVPEL, the milestone represents a major achievement not only for Ghanaian music but also for the wider African dance music scene, opening new doors for Afro-House and electronic sounds from the continent on the global stage.
