… in response to growing demand for smart mobility
The Chinese car giant FAW Group has launched the company’s contemporary passenger vehicle brand BESTUNE into the Ghanaian market, as a cost-effective, technologically savvy mobility product, capable of meeting the changing needs of Ghanaian motorists.

The soft launch ceremony took place at Stallion Motors’ headquarters in Accra.
Management, industry partners, and potential customers gathered together to see the new range of smart passenger vehicles by FAW and learn more about the company’s plans in the area of sustainable mobility.
Addressing the attendees, the sales executive – Rosina Mensah explained that BESTUNE is a symbol of the evolution of the company from being merely a conventional automobile producer to becoming a smart mobility and new-energy vehicles manufacturer.
“As the brand, we are shifting from the conventional automobile to a smart mobility and new-energy vehicles because we want to meet the future needs of consumers,” she stated, saying that the brand has gone through the process of diversification from making traditional sedans to SUVs, EVs, PHEVs, and smart vehicles.
“The future direction of BESTUNE is about the electric power, hybrids, AI-cockpit, and globalization,” she said, saying that the evolution of the brand shows the commitment of FAW to innovation and sustainability.
According to her, the long history of FAW Group – over 70 years of experience of the company prove how the first big automobile maker in China has grown into a global automotive giant. She said that the company invests a lot in electric mobility, smart cabins, and advanced vehicle platforms because the company wants to be a leader in shaping the future of transport.
As she explained, the transformation of BESTUNE from a traditional passenger vehicle brand into the smart new-energy mobility brand shows the commitment of FAW to making environmental friendly technologically advanced cars for international markets, including Ghana.
Ganesh Phadale, the country head of Stallion Motors, said that the new vehicles have been priced quite competitively so that Ghanaian consumers can enjoy the benefits of best products without paying extra.
“Once you compare our vehicles with other vehicles available on our roads with same specifications, you will realize that our vehicles are more affordable,” he said.
He is confident that the new BESTUNE line will help to increase consumer choice and make modern automotive technologies available to individuals, families, and businesses.
Founded in 1953, FAW Group is China’s oldest automobile manufacturer and one of the largest state-owned automotive companies in the country. The company manufactures almost three million cars a year and exports them to over 70 countries around the world.
