Ghana’s 4×100 quartet team has achieved a remarkable feat with an astonishing performance at the ongoing World Athletics Relays championship in Bahamas, although the team was hit with some challenges on the first day of event after mistakenly dropping the baton.
Following this incredible milestone set by the team spearheaded by the amazing duo of Ibrahim Fuseini,Isaac Botsio,Benjamin Azamati, and African Games 200m gold medalist Joseph Paul Amoah, the Ghana Olympics Committee has come out to congratulate the athletes for securing qualification to the Olympic Games in Paris.
“Your path to this milestone reflects your exceptional abilities, passion for success, and the true spirit of sportsmanship.The Ghana Olympic Committee is proud of your achievement and wishes the team the best of luck as they prepare for Paris,” the statement read.
The Ghana Olympic Committee also assured the 4×100 quartet team of their full support as they turned their attention to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. The committee outlined that they will work with able stakeholders to ensure the team gets the proper preparation ahead of the Olympic Games.
Ghana’s 4×100 quartet team has shown dedication and determination in the past few months, with absolutely outstanding showings, notably in the just-ended African Games hosted in Ghana. The team has since picked up from there with the aim of making a mark at the Olympic Games in Paris.
