Atinga revealed in an interview ahead of the commencement of his marathon that Khebab business has been a family business which his father started.
He said he was able to finance his education from primary to the tertiary level with income earned from the Khebab business.
Atinga said he’s inspired to embark on this marathon to dispel the perception that Khebab business is only meant for the uneducated.
“I’m trying to do this to encourage people to take this as a source of livelihood and support themselves and their families and also dispute the wrong notion that we have about some kind of jobs that are for people who are only uneducated,” Atinga told Culture Joint.
