Hearts of Lions defender Ebenezer Abban has completed a move to Brunei Darussalam club Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota (DPMM FC) after joining the side as a free agent.
The Ghanaian defender leaves the Ghana Premier League outfit following the expiration of his contract and will begin a new chapter in his career with the Brunei-based club, which competes in the Malaysia Super League.
Abban’s move marks another overseas transfer for a Ghanaian player as he seeks to establish himself in Southeast Asian football. His experience in the Ghana Premier League is expected to strengthen DPMM FC’s defensive options ahead of the new campaign.
The defender joins the club without a transfer fee after becoming a free agent, allowing DPMM FC to secure his services ahead of the upcoming season.
Abban will now focus on adapting to his new environment and helping DPMM FC achieve their objectives in the Malaysia Super League as he embarks on the next phase of his professional career.
