Hearts of Oak are in advanced negotiations to appoint Bosnian coach Nebojša Kapor as their new head coach ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.

The Phobians have been searching for a new manager following the departure of Didi Dramani, who stepped down at the end of last season after guiding the club through the campaign.

Kapor is no stranger to Ghanaian football, having previously managed Tema Youth and Medeama SC during his earlier spell in the country. His most recent job in Ghana came with Medeama, where he remained until leaving the club in December 2023.

Since his exit from the Yellow and Mauves, the experienced tactician has continued his coaching career in Uganda and is now on the verge of making a return to Ghana.

Sources indicate that discussions between Hearts of Oak and the 38-year-old coach have progressed significantly, with both parties working towards reaching a final agreement.

Should the deal be completed, Kapor will be tasked with leading the Phobians back into title contention as the club prepares for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.
