Ghanaian evangelist, Patricia Asiamah, widely known as Agradaa, has stated that she is a repented and transformed person following her recent release from prison.
Speaking in an interview with Roman Fada on Atinka TV, the evangelist addressed public criticism suggesting that she has not changed, especially based on some of her recent social media videos.
She noted that she finds such comments difficult to understand and often questions whether those making the claims have also changed in their own lives. According to her, many of her critics are engaged in acts such as gossip, fornication, and stealing, yet continue to judge her.
“When I hear that, I ask myself, those saying that, have they changed? Sometimes I don’t understand Ghanaians. Those saying that are engaged in gossip, fornication, robbery and others—have they changed? They know I have repented but for the change, I don’t know what they are talking about because I can’t fake,” she said.
Mama Pat explained that while she has genuinely repented, she cannot pretend to be someone she is not, adding that her way of speaking is naturally filled with zeal and charisma.

Agradaa also noted that she has made a personal decision to stay away from controversies, online confrontations, and any actions that go against the word of God. Reflecting on her past, she admitted that before becoming an evangelist, she was often involved in online disputes and exchanges of insults.
According to her, some individuals she clashed with in the past may still hold grudges and attempt to provoke her, but she is determined not to respond. She maintained that her focus now is on her faith and doing the work of God, despite ongoing criticism.
Evangelist Mama Pat also stated that her lively and jovial personality is intentional and plays a key role in her ministry. According to her, being cheerful and energetic helps her attract people’s attention, giving her the opportunity to share the word of God with them. She noted that her approach is not about seeking attention for herself, but about using her natural charisma as a tool to reach more people and communicate her message effectively. She added that she has no plans to change that aspect of her personality, as she believes it supports her mission of spreading the gospel.
