AsanteKotoko are in talks to appoint former club captain, Isaac Amoako, as their new goalkeepercoach.Thedecisionfollows the dismissal of Najahu Issah, who worked as the goalkeeper’s trainer at the clubfor years.Amoako is expected to bring his vast experience and proven track record in goalkeeping development to bolster the Porcupine Warriors preparations for the upcoming season. Amoako is no stranger to the Kotoko faithful.He joined the club in 2007 from BA United after an outstandingdebutcampaign in the Ghana Premier League, and went on to serve the Reds for a decade.During his time at the club, he won four Ghana Premier League titles and six FA Cups, earning a reputation as one of the leagues finest and most consistent goalkeepers.Following his retirement from football, Amoako has worked withDreamsFC, Nsoatreman FC, and Medeama SC as a goalkeepers’ trainer.
