Ghanaians have called for the immediate arrest of Chef Smith following his deceitful actions.
Speaking to Serwaa Amihere on GHOne TV in a recent interview, a tearful Chef Smith apologised to Ghanaians and the global community for the humiliation and his lies.
“I render a very big apology on this big platform, and I apologise to the world that I am so sorry. I don’t deserve to live. But in my quest to earn a living, it has landed me this way I am sorry, and I beg the entire nation,” he expressed.
Chef Smith called a press conference in Accra on Tuesday and claimed he was currently the reigning Guinness World Record (GWR) holder for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.
But checks with GWR indicated that the certificate Chef Smith showcased at the press conference is not from GWR.
In a video shared on social media on Saturday (July 6, 2024) Chef Smith is heard saying, “I’m so sorry, I don’t deserve to…. I’m sorry and I beg the whole nation.”
Reacting to this, some Ghanaians have called for the immediate arrest of Chef Smith for lying to the general public and wasting the money of his sponsors.
