A woman identified as Sweety has reportedly attacked her husband in Gbi-Avega, a community in the Hohoe Municipality of the Volta Region, leaving him with multiple injuries.
According to reports, the incident occurred when the victim, identified as Martin, was escorting his estranged wife to his residence to collect her remaining belongings. The couple had reportedly separated two weeks before the attack.
During the visit, Sweety inflicted razor blade wounds on her husband under circumstances that remain unclear.

Eyewitness accounts suggest that immediately after the attack, she fled the scene on a waiting motorcycle, leaving the injured man behind.
Martin is currently receiving medical treatment at a nearby hospital. The extent of his injuries has not been fully disclosed, but sources indicate that he is in stable condition.
The couple share two young children—one aged three years and the other just over a year old—adding a layer of concern about the broader impact of the incident on the family.
