Dafeamekpor said he joined the Clerk of Parliament, the , the Chief of Staff, the , Dr Valerie Sawyerr and Marietta Brew to witness the signing of the legislation.

He described the law as a major reform that expands access to professional legal education in Ghana while maintaining strict academic and professional standards.

According to him, the new legislation widens opportunities for many prospective law students who previously faced challenges accessing professional legal education.

He added that the Attorney General indicated that accreditation measures would be introduced to ensure the successful implementation of the law.

Dafeamekpor described the passage and assent of the law as the outcome of an eight-year struggle for reforms in legal education.
