Champions Medeama SC have been handed a demanding schedule in their bid to retain the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League title, with an opening-day away clash against Dreams FC highlighting a tough start to the new campaign.
Fresh from lifting their second Premier League crown, the Mauve and Yellow will be eager to establish themselves as Ghana’s dominant force. However, their quest for successive league titles will require navigating one of the toughest fixture lists in the division.
Medeama begin their title defence on the road before returning to the TnA Stadium for their first home fixture against newly promoted Port City FC. They then travel to Tema to face Vision FC before hosting Basake Holy Stars in the first Western Derby of the season on Matchday Four.
The early tests continue with another away assignment against fellow newcomers Debibi United FC, ensuring the champions have little room for error during the opening weeks of the campaign.
Regional supremacy will once again be at stake as Medeama prepare for a series of high-profile Western derbies.
