Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus shone in West Ham United’s recent EFL Cup victory over Lincoln City, earning himself the Man of the Match award.
This impressive performance comes in only his second start for the club since joining West Ham from Ajax in August.
West Ham secured a 1-0 win over Lincoln City, with Tomas Soucek scoring the sole goal in the second half. Kudus’s standout display helped the Premier League side advance to the next round of the competition.
Kudus faced stiff competition from teammates, including goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski, Konstantinos Mavropanos, and Soucek, but his exceptional performance earned him the Man of the Match accolade.
Despite his limited starts, the former Ajax midfielder has made a significant impact at West Ham, already scoring two goals in five appearances for the club.
Kudus is also eager to secure his first Premier League start, having come off the bench in the last three matches following his over 40 million euros move.
