Ghana international Mohammed Kudus has returned to full training with Tottenham Hotspur, taking a major step in his recovery ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The 25-year-old was back on the training pitch with his Spurs teammates during the club’s pre-season preparations after spending several months on the sidelines through injury.

Kudus has not played since January after suffering a serious quad injury during a Premier League match against Sunderland, a setback that eventually ruled him out of Ghana’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Although the midfielder initially resumed training earlier this year, he suffered a relapse during his recovery, forcing him to undergo further specialist assessment and leaving him unavailable for the tournament in North America.

His absence was a significant blow for both Tottenham and the Black Stars, with Kudus expected to play a leading role for Ghana at the World Cup before the injury disrupted his plans.

With the former Ajax star now back in full training, Tottenham will be hopeful of having one of their key attacking players available for the start of the new campaign, while Ghana will also be encouraged by his progress ahead of the upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
