Ajax star Mohammed Kudus believes that winning the African Footballer of the Year award is possible for him.

The midfielder is currently experiencing the best spell of his career and is expected to attract interest from top clubs, including Manchester United and Liverpool, at the end of the season.

Kudus has scored 20 goals and contributed two assists in 41 matches across all competitions, including the World Cup, this season. This has led to recent discussions about his chances of winning the CAF award, and Kudus is hopeful of claiming the top award in the future.

When asked about his chances in an interview on Ajax TV’s “Ask The Pro,” Kudus said, “I believe everything is possible in this world, so definitely yeah, I will be chosen one day.”

The Ghanaian moved to Ajax from Nordsjaelland in 2020 for a reported transfer fee of around 9 million euros. After proving himself on the biggest stages, he is now expected to command a significant transfer fee.

Kudus has won back-to-back league titles with Ajax and is in the running for this season’s trophy. The team has also won one KNVB Cup.
