A mobile money (MoMo) vendor somewhere in Koforidua is currently in shambles after being robbed.
The vendor was targeted by thieves on a motorbike who made away with a staggering close to 55,000.
A social media user narrated the events that led to the vendor being so painfully robbed.
According to the witnesses, the robbers monitored the vendor for a while and plotted a plan to steal the money.
The witness said the vendor was returning from the bank to his stall with money for the day when they rushed past him, took the bag from his hands and absconded with it.
The money stolen is reportedly almost Ghc 60,000.
The netizen who filmed the video went ahead to warn other mobile money operators to be incredibly vigilant in such dangerous times.
