Budding Ghanaian Afrobeat musician and media personality, Richard Kofi Amoh, known in the creative industry as Officer Haiii has promoted his place of birth through his recently released album, dubbed Akuma and has wooed Ghanaians and other foreign tourists to his hometown.
The artist who is currently on his debut album promotion, detailed why people need to visit his village in an interview with Valerie Danso on the GTV Breakfast Show on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
The album sheds light on his hometown.
Officer Haiii who explained that, his stage name HAIII is an acronym that represents “Highly Accorded In Intuitive Intelligence”, also mentioned that he finds the promotion of his town as gospel because, gospel is known as the spread of a message, hence he is spreading the message about Akuma.
According to the musician, Akuma has lots of beautiful places which need to be projected for people to see and appreciate.
He listed sceneries like the waterfalls which he featured in his video, pollution free streams which exists amidst the galamsey menace in the country and a farm estate as places in Akuma that need to be seen by many.
He explained his style of music as one that is full of culture-valued content with inspirations from events from the past being brought to the present.
His dream is to collaborate with M.anifest, Okyeame Kwame, Pure Akan and Samini in years to come.
