The head coach of Nations Football Club, Kassim Mingle Ocansey is optimistic that his team will be a force to reckon with in the Ghana Premier League this season.
The highly-rated tactician led his side to draw with Bechem United in the opening weekend of the 2024/25 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Coach Kassim Mingle said he is confident his side will improve and play at a top level after matchday 3.
“We played very well but it’s unfortunate we couldn’t win the game. I will say it’s the beginning of the league, I’m very much impressed with the performance but it’s not 100% yet but a work in progress. There is more work to be done and I’m not down at all. If you could see our goalkeeper was on complete holiday. We kept on pressing until we got the goal and it was disallowed.
“There is more room for improvement and we will keep working. We played better than them and we played the draw. After three or four matches the team will gel more than we did here,” Coach Kassim Mingle Ocansey said.
Coach Kassim Mingle and his Nations FC side will aim for a first win of the new Ghana Premier League season next weekend when the team takes on Young Apostles.
