Black Stars skipper, Andre Ayew, is among a list of players to be released by English Premiership side, Nottingham Forest in the summer.

The 33-year-old joined the club from Qatari side, Al Sadd last February but could only make 12 appearances with 11 of them as substitute.

However, the club has placed his name among a list of six senior players whose services would not be needed in the coming season.

The six players include former Manchester United player, Jesse Lingard, Cafu, Jack Colback, Jordan Smith and Lyle Taylor.

Everton were among the many suitors interested in the signature of player when he left Qatar but opted to play for Nottingham Forest.
