Chief Executive Officer of the Freezones Authority, has won the NPP parliamentary in the constituency.

The incumbent , Sarah has finally been unseated in her fourth bid to retain her candidacy for Dome- after polling 328 votes out of the over 1,841 delegates votes cast.

I’m very grateful to God because I know this was the battle of the Lord. Thank you to the people of Dome-Kwabenya for voting for me resoundingly,” Mike Ocquaye said after his victory.

Mike Ocquaye Junior after attempting the on two occasions has now managed to secure 1,194 votes and Sheila Oppong polled 186 votes. has come under severe criticisms and have been embroiled in many controversies prior to the primaries.

Adwoa Safo won’t retain seat – Mussa Dankwah

Prior to the primaries, Executive Director of  has said incumbent  for Dome-, Sarah  has no chance in the ongoing ‘s Primaries.

Mr. Dankwah in an interview with  on  said the MP has too many controversies surrounding her and will not be able to retain her seat.

He added that Adwoa Safo will lose her seat even if additional votes are given to her.

“The poll numbers are not in her favour and the odds are against her. Mike Ocquaye Jnr is going to win the primaries this afternoon. It should be very clear on what has happened in the constituency in the past and the TikTok issues. People have not forgiven her and that’s how bad delegates think she’s done to the NPP and on that note my MP will not go back to ,” Mr. Dankwah said.
